FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Prices, process, glass, shipping – the most important answers at a glance. Your question missing? Write to us.

What does a frame cost?

The base price is €180 for 40 × 50 cm and €225 for 50 × 70 cm – each including complete handwork and with real glass, plus shipping. A custom name plate costs €25 extra, museum glass €55 (40 × 50) or €75 (50 × 70). Try our price calculator – you'll have your estimate in 10 seconds.

How do I hang the frame correctly?

Use a sturdy hook or wall plug rated for the weight – frames with real glass in particular carry some weight. If possible, choose a wall without direct sunlight: even with UV protection, the less direct sunlight, the longer signature and colors stay brilliant. Places with high humidity (bathroom) or directly above a radiator are also unfavorable. As a rule of thumb for height: center of the picture at about 145–150 cm.

How do I care for the framed piece?

Very little – that's the beauty of it. For frame and glass, a soft, dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth is enough. Don't spray aggressive cleaners directly. Special note for acrylic glass: don't use alcohol- or solvent-based products and only wipe with a very soft cloth without pressure, as the surface is more scratch-sensitive than real glass. The inside of the frame is sealed – you never need to touch it.

Can you source a specific jersey for me?

Yes. If your desired jersey isn't in our stock, we search specifically on request using our international contacts in the memorabilia market. Plan for a significantly longer time frame than the usual 4–6 weeks – good pieces sometimes require patience. Just tell us player, team and budget, and we'll take care of it.

What determines the price of a signed jersey?

Several factors that interact:

The jersey itself: original jerseys (Nike, adidas, Mitchell & Ness) are higher quality and more expensive than so-called custom jerseys. With the compact 40 × 50 frames this difference plays a smaller visual role.

The player: sought-after names are significantly more expensive – and some players rarely sign at all, which drives prices further.

The signature: who certified it (Beckett, JSA, PSA)? How clean is it? Is there an additional inscription or tag next to the signature? And is the origin traceable? All of this affects the value.

In the design consultation we're happy to advise which combination fits your budget.

How long does it take?

We plan 4–6 weeks for production from the arrival of your jersey. Every frame contains 4–5 hours of real handwork – from the color concept to tensioning the jersey to the final quality check.

How does the process work?

In five steps: 1. get in touch (form, email or Instagram), 2. joint design consultation, 3. you send us the jersey and any card, 4. 4–6 weeks of production, 5. insured return shipping in our special packaging.

Which glass type is right for me?

Real glass (no surcharge): the classic with brilliant optics. Acrylic glass (+ €10): around 50% lighter and shatterproof – ideal for shipping, for the kids' room or anywhere something might fly into the frame. Museum glass (+ €55 / + €75 depending on size): almost invisibly anti-reflective and with UV protection up to 95%.

Good to know: autographs can fade under UV light over the years – museum glass preserves the value of your signature.

Is shipping insured?

Return shipping from us to you is always insured and done in special packaging developed for our frames. You organize the shipment to us yourself – we recommend taking out transport insurance with your shipping provider (e.g. DHL).

Can I have my own trading card framed?

Absolutely – it's one of our specialties. You can have your favorite card framed together with your own jersey. And if you're missing the matching jersey: we have over 250 signed jerseys in stock. Just send us your card, we'll find the matching jersey and build the frame around it.

Do you have signed jerseys in stock?

Yes – over 250 signed jerseys from various sports and eras. So an inquiry is worthwhile even if you don't own a jersey yourself. Tell us which player or team interests you.

Which frame and passepartout colors are possible?

For the standard sizes 40 × 50 and 50 × 70 cm, frames come in black and white. For custom frame sizes, further colors are possible on request. For the passepartout we work with a curated palette that we match to the original team colors of your franchise – which combination harmonizes best we discuss together in the design consultation.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship Germany-wide and internationally – always securely packed in our special packaging. For shipping abroad, customs duties or fees of the destination country may apply.

Do you frame every sport?

Yes – basketball, soccer, ice hockey, football, baseball, handball, motorsport and everything beyond. Besides jerseys we also frame signed photos, single trading cards and complete card sets. We also realize concepts for practices, offices and business spaces.

What does "One of One" mean and what are the series?

One of One is our promise: every frame is unique – no frame is like another. Our series (e.g. "Regulate" or "All Eyez on Me") describe the base configuration of a frame – size and features like trading card and name plate. Within each series, every piece is still individually designed.
